AutoAnno is an annotation wizard.
It is a first of it’s kind add-on for Autodesk AutoCAD® and BricsCAD® engineering drafting and design software. Conceived and assembled by a team of design and software professionals with more than 100 years experience in civil engineering and software design, it is groundbreaking in it’s approach to the annotation of design plans. This new approach has been called the holy grail of CAD software by professionals in the field. By virtue of our copyrighted EVR Engine, AutoAnno removes or reduces many of the human error inducing components of plan annotation, thereby firmly placing users of AutoAnno on the cutting edge and providing them with a significant reduction in plan preparation time while also reducing errors and improving consistency.
We believe AutoAnno will provide users a significant advantage over competitors utilizing conventional annotation methods.
Open Architecture
Every version of Auto Anno comes with a basic set of Civil 3D label styles that are fully integrated with the Auto Anno system. Day one users can literally plug and play and improve annotation workflow on the fly. Users newer to the C3D platform will benefit from these basic styles by bringing their plans out of the dark ages of annotation into the light of a new day. Experienced users are welcome to customize these basic styles to their company standards by changing fonts, layer assignments and so on.
We also welcome AA users to contribute to the community of users by uploading their custom styles for other AA users to utilize. Perhaps you have developed a style set specific for a particular municipality with rigorous annotation requirements, help a fellow user out and share your efforts.

We built AutoAnno from scratch, in the same .NET development platform that Autodesk utilizes, to provide seamless connectivity with Autodesk products. AutoAnno is not lisp based, it is purpose built to work with Autodesk products.
The design directives for this project were simple and compiled from years of plan building, with input from users all over the world, from firms global to local.
From the outset, the vision for AutoAnno has been to simplify and reduce the intrusion of human error in plan preparation. As such, we made it lean and easy to learn without so many options you get lost in the setup. Our EVR engine is designed to promote expansion and community wide cooperation. Our open architecture embraces your means and methods while providing a fundamental consistency across all our users.
